We are looking for a Per Diem LCSW to do Psychiatric Assessment for the MICA population!(2 Shifts per week)
 
8:30 am-4:30 pm
 
Assignment ongoingLocation lower Manhattan
 
Perform and document psychiatric evaluations of mentally ill, homeless men (most of whom also have co-occurring substance abuse issues) for bothdiagnostic purposes and supportive housing applications.
Collaborate with case management, psychiatric, and other clinical staff to complete assessments and communicate clinical recommendations for treatment and other services.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate degree in social work as well as LCSW designation required.
  • At least two years post-LCSW experience performing psychiatric evaluations also required. Experience conducting diagnostic assessments of severely mentally ill adults strongly preferred.
  • Good writing and computer literacy skills needed. Bilingual preferred..
