A major hosting provider company is seeking a Cloud Service Associate to work in the downtown Manhattan office. The Cloud Service Associate will be managing and troubleshooting client’s cloud environment. The firm is looking for someone who has experience providing technical support and experience with AWS, Azure, or other public cloud platforms environment. The associate will be working overnight shifts  (7PM-5AM) on a rotating schedule. Responsibilities

•             Troubleshoot, update and resolve client problems, including  in-depth system issues and backup failures in our client's environments

•             Perform daily server monitoring of our client's servers, troubleshoot routing and networking issues.

•             Deploy new instances within our client's VMware, AWS, or Azure environments and perform Quality Control within the client’s environments

 

Requirements

•             2-3 years of related MSP technical support experience

•             Familiarity with Linux/Unix and/or Windows Server Administration

•             Excellent customer service and strong written/verbal communication skills

•             Knowledge of AWS and other cloud platforms

•             Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

•             We are a 24/7 company, and thus this position requires availability of nights and weekends on a regularly scheduled rotational basis. We are, however, flexible with scheduling and the needs of our employees.
